won’t ask you anything corny, like to be my valentine. I’m sure you’ve got your
own, and I’ve got a few of my own too. *wink wink* Of course…a couple of those
might be book boyfriends—but can you blame me? Don’t we all have that one great
book boyfriend we can’t get out of our minds?
All Romance e-books is having a 50% off rebate sale so you can add to your list
of book boyfriends and/or girlfriends. (hey – we don’t judge here J)
make the deal just a bit sweeter—I’ve marked some of my titles down 25%.
Including Lee Brazil and my new Hearts of Parkerburg release and ARe Bestseller Fire of the Heart!
you’ll get that 25% off your book right away, and then the additional 50%
rebate from ARe.
that’s one heckuva sale.
could list the twenty-three titles that I marked down…um…but wouldn’t
that be a bit tedious? So instead why don’t you just hop on over and do
some sight seeing. Hmmm…would it be called window-shopping over the Internet? J
remember to use moderation when enjoying the chocolates and the wine—but not when enjoying the loving.
– it’s the end of another week…did I earn those books I’ve been drooling over?
Sadly to say *hangs head* not quite yet. That’s okay, I won’t beat myself up
about it. I will of course continue to covet those titles I can’t wait to read
– but in all reality I haven’t had any real free time to read right now so I’m
not out as much as it would seem.
mean I’m not gonna set more goals and continue to try to beat them…just means I
need to prioritize my time better. *nods*
wish me luck because darn it, I have even more books I want to read—but in
order to read them it might be nice to actually write my own so I can make
money to buy them…lmao!
p.s. think I’ll add ‘reading time’ on my to-do list... :)
Okay – as usual I’m late
posting about a new release. But in a way I’m glad
I’m running behind the eight ball this time…because now I not only get to post
about the new Parkerburg release from Lee Brazil and me — but also tell you about how it is #17 on the ARe Bestseller list!
Sorry – I’m a little bit
So here it is…Fire of the
Heart, Hearts of Parkerburg’s 3rd book—Craig and Melrose’s story.
Craig Gilchrist is the oldest of five siblings, the captain of the
Parkerburg Fire Department, and all around buddy his friends run to when they
have a problem. Unfortunately, he’s keeping a secret not only from the whole
town, but his family as well. Living in the shadows works for him until one
fateful night when a hot stranger walks across a smoky barroom, forcing Craig
to make a move that could rock the foundation of his existence…and fill the
void in his heart he doesn’t realize he has.
Melrose escaped the end of a bad relationship to start over in Parkerburg.
With the support of his cousin and a job waiting tables at a great restaurant,
he thinks his life is finally going pretty smoothly. That’s when his path
crosses that of Craig Gilchrist, local fire captain. The big, beefy firefighter
is definitely not his type. So why does he suddenly star in all of Melrose’s
With Melrose at his side, Craig finally has the motivation to step out of
the shadows and let Parkerburg see the real him…until trouble arises and the
truth comes to light that perhaps he doesn’t know the real Melrose.
Lies and fears play havoc with their newly acquired relationship. Luckily,
once ignited, the hearts of Parkerburg don’t burn out so easily.
The Hearts of Parkerburg stories can be read as standalones, each with a
HEA…but trust me, you'll want to read about all the sweet happenings in this
quaint little town.
So here it is, the end of the
week. How have I done on my weekly work goals? Um…well…*hangs head* yeah, not so
great. But I plan to do better next week!
In fact, I have to—I’ve
decided to give myself some tough love. In other words…next week I’m kicking
myself in the assets. I’ll write my weekly goals out tomorrow and by next
Saturday, if I finish them all, I’ll allow myself to purchase some books I’ve
been eyeing. But…if they aren’t finished I won’t be adding to my (already huge)
Now, that’s something I can
stick to because I’m good at not buying stuff even if I really want it… So, a
little self-motivation might just help keep me on the straight and narrow. :)
Will I share my to-do list
with you tomorrow? You don’t really wanna see the boring stuff I have to do, do
you? We’ll see, how about that?
But I’ll let you know
Saturday if I get to splurge on the books I’ve been drooling over.
Curious what they are?
I’ll list a few here (trust
me, it’s gonna grow over the week, but I must be strong):
Fate by Dianne Hartsock
Sleep by Stephen King
Into You by Remmy Duchene
So hopefully I’ll be a busy
bee and get my work done this week…because I was just perusing the Stephen King
section on Amazon and there are so many I haven’t read yet…and so many I wanna
get that I’ve lost over the many years. He’s one of the authors I like having
in print and e-book. :) And if I don't meet my weekly goals…well, I'm gonna have to put myself in time out in the corner with a book ~or~ perhaps give myself a spanking. There has to be consequences for being a naughty author…lol
