Happy Friday everyone!
Are you ready for the flashing to begin????
To all who celebrate - Happy Thanksgiving Day yesterday!
I'm still stuffed and trying to digest, that was some serious eats, let me tell you! Kudos to my sis - she played that kitchen like Hendrix plays his guitar! hehe
So this Friday Flash Fiction is a number of talented authors getting together to describe a picture with just 100 words, not 101...not 99 - 100 hits the mark.
Enough idle chatter? Well if you say so...but I personally say I never can get enough...*smirks*
Okay *unties trench coat* here are my goodies...
I opened the bathroom door and took in the
scene—Harlan lay motionless in the bathtub, Ritchie poised over him, Ryder stood
by his head and Geoff across the room, no one making eye contact with me and
all in different stages of undress.
"What's going on?" I questioned.
Ritchie looked at me and sneered, "You did
this, Havan! Are you happy now? You wouldn't allow Harlan to do what he needed
to! Now live with the consequences of your actions!"
I sneered back, "Melodramatic much? It wasn't
that bad! Fine! Next time you guys can freaking cook Thanksgiving dinner!"
*****************************************
And that...my dear friends...is precisely why my sis cooks Thanksgiving dinner and not I.
If Harlan, Ryder and Ritchie have piqued your interest...you can see them in my short story, Harlan's Ryde, being released from Breathless Press next Friday, December 2nd, in the Story Orgy's anthology...Word Play!
*reties trench coat and holds out hand* okay...now for the fun part - let us blog hop to the next yummy!
