Sooooooooo...I
have the feisty and fabulous Silvia Violet over again—the other day she was
here doing a wowza cover reveal for If Wishes Were Horses...well I
wanted more More MORE info on this book so I kinda coerced her back over with
fresh buttery croissants and deliciously hot coffee...um...and yes I ran to the
nearest coffee house to pick them up *sticks out tongue* so? LMAO Doesn't
matter how I got her to visit me again...all that matters is she did!!!
AND...she also agreed to answer a question or five of mine...*fist pumps air*
score!
Here's
Silvia...Silvia Violet writes erotic romance
in a variety of genres including paranormal, contemporary, sci fi, and
historical. She can be found haunting coffee shops looking for the darkest,
strongest cup of coffee she can find. Once equipped with the needed fuel, she
can happily sit for hours pounding away at her laptop. Silvia typically leaves
home disguised as a suburban stay-at-home-mom, and other coffee shop patrons
tend to ask her hilarious questions like "Do you write children's
books?" She loves watching the looks on their faces when they learn what
she's actually up to. When not writing, Silvia enjoys baking sinfully delicious
treats, exploring new styles of cooking, and reading to her incorrigible
offspring.

Now
as promised...let's do a little digging into that pretty noggin that Silvia has
*winks*...Let the questions begin!
In
fifty words or less, sum up If Wishes Were Horses.
Ken wants Andy to be the man he’s always longed for,
dominant, caring , competent. Andy could be that man, but showing Ken who he
really is will blow Andy’s cover and put Ken in danger, even thought it’s
Andy’s only chance at happiness.
Is
there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
I always have a difficult time actually starting on
a new story even if I know what should happen. Something about being faced with
a blank page unnerves me. I also find working out the dynamics of a fight scene
particularly challenging.
What
book are you reading now?
I’m reading The Only One Who Matters by LA Witt and
Cat Grant and also doing a re-read of Fish and Chips by Abi Roux.
Five
reasons why your men freaking rock
They’re hot, good in bed, complex, protective, and
loyal.
Name
one of your heroes that you would LOVE to meet in person. Now name one that you
would NEVER want to meet ever…why?
I’d love to meet Tristan from the Wild R Farm
series because he’s fun and easy to talk to and he’s always in my head even
when I’m working on other projects. If I met Ken from If Wishes Were Horses, he
would ruin me for all other men and I would turn into a blubbering idiot in
front of him.
Okay...if
that
doesn't arouse our interest about If Wishes Were Horses than nothing will...speaking
of which...Silvia sweetie, you promised!
And
we've got blurbage!
Kenneth Carver had everything growing up except
warmth and acceptance. When protecting his family’s name became more than he
could bear, he came out as gay, sold his company, and bought a horse ranch.
Andrew Wofford's last undercover assignment nearly
cost him his sanity. Now he has another chance of catching the drug runner who
killed one of his informants and then escaped, but gruesome flashbacks threaten
his ability to function in the field.
Andy’s latest investigation sends him to Ken’s
ranch where he poses as a ranch hand. Ken is a prime suspect, but Andy refuses
to believe Ken is guilty, in part because Andy is falling for him. Ken knows
Andy isn’t who he seems, but he can’t bring himself to push the man away. When
Ken hears rumors that someone is using his land to move drugs out of the city,
he worries that it’s Andy. Neither man can trust the other even though that’s
exactly what their hearts tell them to do.
