I think I'm old enough (now!) to realise that although "there is a book in everyone", I ain't going to better some of the stuff which is coming out now!!!!
I have about a dozen "pieces" of books I thought I might write - but they are depressingly "normal" and NOT good enough! (And I'm probably inherantly lazy enough not to bother trying to emulate my favourite authors!!) :)
So, I have a great deal of respect for those people who DO persevere! (and I get to beta a few things! But I remember: "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach" - I fall into the second category - and I am happy!) :)
